Previous sponsors

To ensure the continuity of our classes, we apply at intervals for sponsorship, grants and gifts from public bodies, commercial concerns and other interested parties.

In recent years we have been fortunate to receive funds from the National Lottery Community Fund, Trafford Housing Trust Community Fund, Forever Manchester, Cooperative Local Community Fund and the Tesco Bags of Help promotion. Other donations have come from individuals. A former member of the group, Myona Murray, left a generous bequest for the work of the THHG for which we are very grateful.

In February 2018, we succeeded in our application to become a registered Charity (No: 1177183). Our hope is that this will open new avenues for funding and will assure both funders and Group members that our finances are on a sound footing and that our future is secure.
