Membership contributions are are £3 per class, usually paid in one instalment of £30 on the first day of term. Pro rata contributions are charged for new members joining at a later stage. We pay for the services of a lipreading tutor, as well as the rent for our two venues, in Stretford and Altrincham. The contributions we pay are heavily subsidised. The shortfall is covered by occasional donations from members or well wishers and by grants from donor groups.
It is important to our group that nobody should be excluded by inability to pay the full contribution. We are committed to helping every applicant with hearing difficulty. If you foresee a problem with the contribution please explain this to the Publicity Officer.
